Rodrigo is a full-time arbitrator and mediator, having served in thirteen cases as arbitrator and seven as mediator to date, as referenced below. He has worked as counsel in international and domestic arbitration for over 17 years before leading national and international arbitral institutions. His professional experience includes positions at arbitral institutions (ICDR/AAA in New York and ICC in Paris); prominent law firms in Miami, Paris, São Paulo, and Curitiba; as well as international organizations (UNCITRAL in Vienna and the Brazilian Mission to the WTO in Geneva).

He holds an LL.M. from the Geneva Center for International Dispute Settlement and currently serves as the Chair of the Negotiation and Mediation Committee of the Brazilian Bar Association, Paraná Division; VP of the Mediation and Arbitration Center of the Paraná Chamber of Commerce (ARBITAC); and Coordinator of the Business Mediation and Negotiation Advocacy Group (NAMNE/Amcham Brazil).

Rodrigo is also a member of the ICDR Brazilian Advisory Council and the Arbitration and ADR Committee of ICC Brazil. He is taking part in the ICC Advanced Arbitration Academy in Latin America and holds certifications in negotiation and mediation from the Pepperdine University and the Center for Dispute Resolution. He is certified as mediator by the ICFML and admitted to practice law in Brazil, Portugal, and FL, USA (as a foreign legal consultant).
